Shipping methods may be defined for product and premium items. Rates are presented to the patron at checkout, and will be added to the total.

New Carrier
Shipping methods offered to the patron are defined by name. At checkout, the names will be listed using a radio button option which will allow the patron to choose one of the listed carriers.
Carrier Name Carriers are identified by their name. The patron will be presented the names of the carriers from which to choose from. Examples: FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.
Internal Memo Since carrier names may be duplicated for different scales, each carrier may be identified internally by the memo. In the following example Price Scale, Quantity Scale, and Weight Scale are all internal memos used for DHL, FedEx and Pigeon Express respectively. Internal memo text will not be visible on the checkout pages and is for internal use only.
New Rate
The patron will be presented the list of carriers, as defined in the New Carrier tab, with their respective total cost for all products and premiums in the basket.

Shipping rate: Shipping cost to be charged for the scale range. Scale between (min) & (max): Scale is a dimensionless unit that may be defined as needed. It may be used as total price, weight, quantity, or some other metric as needed. When a product or premium is added, a scale may be defined for the item. For example, A product may be assigned a scale of 1 and another product a scale of 3. The scale may be set to charge $5 for shipping for scale between 1 (min) and 3 (max). Using this scale, shipping 3 of first product (scale 1) will cost the same as shipping the second product (scale 3).
Assign Carrier The carrier name to be shown at the checkout page. Use CTRL+Click to assign the scale to multiple shipping carriers.
Manage Shipping
Plus sign for expansion of the options listed. Minus sign for collapse of options thus showing only the main listing Duplicate the item Editing the item or option Delete the item or option. All deletions are final and cannot be reverted
