Basics
Product Name
The product name is displayed in the basket identifying the product. A product name should be brief and self-explanatory. A more detailed description may be added under the Customize tab, if needed.
Page Assignment(s)
A product may be assigned to multiple checkout pages. Acheckout pagehas to be first created before a product can be defined.
Product Options
A product may or may not have options. Examples of a product without options could be a book and an example of a product with options could be a tee shirt. If a product doesn't have any options, choose NO for product option. Choose YES, if the product does have options. If NO is selected, the following two fields will be displayed.
Option chosen is NO
A product with NO selected asProduct Optionscannot have any options and is considered single valued and priced.
Product Price
This is the product's unit price. The product's unit price will be multiplied by the quantity chosen in calculating the total price. The product price may be set to $0. A $0 item is considered a free item. If the total balance at checkout is $0 then the system will automatically switch to invoicing and emails an invoice to the patron with a $0 balance. Invoicing is a free service and no fees are charged for using this feature.
Tax Deductible Portion
The tax-deductible portion of the unit price listed. The total tax-deductible portion is calculated by multiplying the tax-deductible portion by quantity.
Option chosen is YES
Product price & tax-deductible portion will disappear since options should be defined using the Build Product Options tab
Settings
Display Status
Activeproductsare displayed in all the assigned checkout pages if the date is within the display schedule. Inactive products are not displayed in any of the assigned checkout pages.
SKU
SKU must be alphanumeric and can include hyphens. SKUs are available in detailed transaction reports and and is an additional report parameter in the custom detailed report.
Display schedule
A product may be set to be displayed immediately or at a time in future. The product may also be set to expire at a future date or never expire. Expired products are not visible on any of the assigned checkout pages. For example:
Start Date: June 30, 2008: Product appears in thecheckout pageon June 30, 2008 at 00.00.01 a.m.
End Date: July 1, 2008: Product disappears from the checkout page on July 1, 2008 at 00.00.01 a.m.
Assign Questions
The list displays all custom question groups. Custom question groups may be assigned to a product for display on the checkout page if the product is added to the basket. Custom question groups must be defined prior to being assigned to a product
Inventory
If enabled the total inventory will be tracked. Once the inventory reaches zero the product will disappear from the checkout page. Sale of each option counts as a reduction inventory of the total product. For example: In an event there is a limit of 100 tickets that may be sold. Tickets are priced differently for members, non-members and guests. In this case, regardless of which option (member, non-member, or guest) is purchased, the inventory is reduced by the number of purchased tickets. Please note that separate inventory tracking is also available for each option
Customize
Product Description
Up to a 1000 character description of the product may be included. Descriptions are shown in thecheckout pagewhen the MORE INFO option is clicked in the product listing. The description appears next to a large image of the product if a product image is uploaded.
Product Image
An image of the product may be uploaded for inclusion in the product listing. The image cannot exceed 200 x 200 pixels. Images greater than the limits specified will NOT be uploaded and will generate a warning.
Your Image
Uploaded image may be previewed and removed in the Your Image area of the tab.
Receipt Message
The message provided as the receipt message will appear on the receipt after the product listing. The message should provide additional information that could be useful after the purchase. Examples include: Please allow 7-10 days to receive the product, or Please bring this receipt to the registration booth to pick up your tickets
Order
Product Display Order
A product's display order relative to otherproductslisted on thecheckout page, may be set by dragging and re-arranging the products as they appear on your screen. Simply mouse click on the product name and move it up or down relative to the other listings.
Is Product Show Case
A showcase product appears at the top of the checkout page with a large image highlighting the product relative to other listings. There can only be one showcase item for each checkout page
Tickets
Enable Ticket
Enable tickets for the product. Once enabled, the ticket will be included for each ticket purchased.
Security Code
5-character security code will be added to each serial number. The security code will be included in the 1d and 2d barcode but will not be shown anywhere else on the ticket.
Enable Counter
Ticket numbers may be based on a pre-designated initial count, e.g. 1000. All ticket sales will show the total tickets sold plus the initial count.
Ticket Banner
The banner will appear on the right hand side of the ticket. Maximum size is 384 x 50 pixels.
Full Name on Ticket
Add patron's full name to the ticket. This feature may be used as security measure and matched against an identification card. The feature is optional. If enabled, the form will ask for full name for each ticket sold. For example, if six tickets are purchased the system will ask for six names during checkout.
Text on Ticket Body
Up to six lines of text may be added to each ticket. These lines will appear in varying font sizes and should provide information about the event, e.g. Event Date, Time, Concert Hall, etc.
Text on Ticket Side Bar
Up to three lines of text may be added to each ticket side-bar. The side bar text appears vertical next to the 2d barcode.
Conditions of Sale
The condition of sale will appear at the bottom of each ticket. Examples include refund policy, etc.
Custom Question 1
Questions may be asked for each ticket. The questions will repeat for each ticket sold. Questions may be in simple text field format (leave the answer field blank) or in a pull down menu (enter answers in the box provided; answers must be separated by semicolon). Example: Dinner choice| Beef; Vegetarian |
Custom Question 2
Questions may be asked for each ticket. The questions will repeat for each ticket sold. Questions may be in simple text field format (leave the answer field blank) or in a pull down menu (enter answers in the box provided; answers must be separated by semicolon). Example: Membership Level | Member; Non-member |
Notes about the barcodes
Each ticket includes a 1d barcode and a 2d barcode. The following provides more information about what is included in each barcode.
1-d barcode
The 1-d barcode includes the OrderID plus the barcode number. For example: 123456789012345-1. The number corresponds to the OrderID as provided in the downloadable report in the reporting section of the administrative system. The 1-d barcode is designed to offer a lookup mechanism using a 1-d barcode reader.
2-d barcode
The 2-d barcode is designed to be used by organizations to read detailed information about each ticket during the check-in process. The following information is included in the 2d barcode. The 2-d barcode scanners will show the information in a continuous line where each item is separated by \ (back slash) from the next item. The following information is included in each barcode.

Security code
Full name as entered for the ticket
Quantity purchased with order. Example: Q3 indicates 3 tickets purchased with the order.
Card Used and last 4 digits of the card. Example: V1234 indicates Visa and 1234 as the last 4 digits. (V=Visa, M=MasterCard, A=AMEX, D=Discover, J=JCB)

Name Badge
Enable Name Badge
Enable Name Badge for the product. Once enabled, the name badge will be included for each product purchased.
Name Badge Banner
The banner will appear at the top of the name badge. Maximum size is 381 x 96 pixels.
Name Badge Footer
Up to three lines of text may be added to each name badge. These lines will appear in a relatively smaller font size than the name and the custom questions. The lines may include such information as the event name, dates, and location.

Notifications
Notification Mailing List
List all the email addresses that need to receive a copy of the receipt if the product is paid for. The email addresses listed only receive a copy of the receipt if the product option is paid for, otherwise they will not receive the receipt. If an email address should receive a copy of the receipt for all transactions it is best if the email is listed in the Account setting and not for the product option.
Build Product Options
Basics
Option Name
Option names are product options such as size, color, terms or other features of a product. Each option name should be added individually.
Product Assignment
An option may be defined and assigned to a specific product. Choose the product to which the option should be assigned from the pull down menu. An option may only be defined if a product already exists.
Option Price
The product price is the price that will be listed for the option on thecheckout page. Each option may have its own price. For instance, an extra large tee shirt may cost $2 more than the small. The option price may be set to $0. A $0 item is considered a free item. If the total balance at checkout is $0 then the system will automatically switch to invoicing and emails an invoice to the patron with a $0 balance. Invoicing is a free service and no fees are charged for using this feature.
Tax Deductible Portion
The portion of the price that is tax-deductible. This option is only available if the checkout page allows fordonationsto be tax-deductible. The tax-deductible portion may NOT exceed the product price
Settings
SKU
SKU must be alphanumeric and may include hyphens. SKU is included on detailed transaction report and is an optional parameter in the custom detailed transaction report.
Discount
Choose from the list of previously defined discount schedules. Discount schedules allow for offeringdiscountsbased on quantity or price. Prior to assignment of a discount schedule, the schedule must be defined. [More at:Product Discounts]
Sales Tax Rules
Choose from the list of previously defined tax rules. Tax rules allow for adding taxes toproductsbased on the payee's billing address and country [More at:Sales Taxes].
Shipping
Check the shipping box if the product requires shipping. If the product is added to the basket, the shipping address will be added to the required information needed from the patron during the checkout process.
Weight
Shipping rates, by default, are calculated based on the value of the product. If the shipping schedule was defined based on weight then the product weight must be listed here. A weight may also be considered as a shipping base value where calculations may be based on. Shipping rate tables are defined and assigned to checkout pages [More at:Shipping].
Inventory
The number of available units may be added for tracking. Once the inventory reaches zero the item will become inactive and will not display on any of the checkout pages. The value may be adjusted at anytime, if needed
Customize
Product Option Image
An image for the option may be uploaded in GIF or JPG format. The maximum allowable image size is 200 x 200 pixels. The optimum resolution for images on the web is 72 dpi.
Display Order
Options may be ordered by dragging and dropping each option to its proper position. To change the option's position, mouse click on the option and move it to the desired position
Notifications
Notification Mailing List

Manage Products & Options
Plus sign for expansion of the options listed. Minus sign for collapse of options thus showing only the main listing Duplicate the donation Editing the product or option Delete the product or option. All deletions are final and cannot be reverted
